Bahlskra or Ba'alskra is a powerful imprisoned Vampire (Most Ancient Sorcerer) that is not introduced until a later episode in the anime. It is later revealed that he is in fact an alternate personality Himea created in order to ease her loneliness.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Being a split personality, Bahlskra and Himea share the same body. Thus sharing all physical appearances except for pure, red eyes that appear whenever Bahlskra gains control of Himea's body. Himea's hair also changes colour, for only the top of Bahlskra's head is pink while Himea has pink down to her shoulders.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Bahlskra is shown to be extremely cold-blooded, willing to kill Taito whom Himea loves without hesitation. He is also extremely possesive of Himea. Both cases are ironic considering he and Himea are technically the same being.
History[edit | edit source]
Before the events of the series, Bahlskra commited many heinous crimes and made many enemies for both himself and Himea. In response to this, Himea sealed him away.
Plot[edit | edit source]
Bahlskra was a second personality created by Himea to help ease her loneliness so Bahlskra is extremely possessive of Himea. However, Himea no longer needed Bahlskra when she met Taito. Bahlskra decided to kill Taito and keep Himea to himself saying that it was because only he could protect Himea and he nearly succeeded but due to Taito's words of love, Himea regained control of herself and destroyed Bahlskra.
Powers & Abilities[edit | edit source]
Since Bahlskra and Himea share the same body, it stands to reason they have the same powers. It is not known if Himea can do this, but in episode 4 Bahlskra had a long, red gooey substance to form from his hand to attack and easily punch through Taito's chest, instantly killing him.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
Bahlskra is an alter ego and essentially a "friend" or "companion" to ease Himea's loneliness. She ended the relationship with Bahlskra because she realized that she can only be protected and fulfilled by Taito, her first and true lover. Thus, destroying her alter ego to make sure that she does not attempt to kill Taito again.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
By defeating Bahlskra, a part of the magic called bliss (or rapture depending on the translation) was completed.
